The Original Forests Of Vermont with Charlie Cogbill ~ February 27, 2019

Charlie Cogbill shares his extensive research aimed at deciphering the character of the original New England forest encountered by the first European inhabitants of this region. Cogbill did this research by an exhaustive investigation of early New England land records and gleaning information on the original forests. Cogbill is an historical ecologist, an Associate of the Harvard Forest and is a member of PalEON, a project devoted to mapping the original forests.
