On Wednesday, February 16th at 6:00 pm the Woodbury ARPA Committee hosted an important informational meeting regarding the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds, that are available for persons and projects in the Town of Woodbury. The ARPA funds are intended to provide “a substantial infusion of resources to help turn the tide on the pandemic, address its economic fall- out, and lay the foundation for a strong and equitable recovery.” Woodbury has received the first installment of $131,975.00 and will receive the second installment of the same amount in August of this year. At the meeting on February 16, representatives from the Vermont League of Cities and Towns (VLCT) and the Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission (CVRPC) provided information and guidance regarding eligibility requirements and potential uses for ARPA funds.
