On June 20, 2015, people gathered together at PanAshé Cultural Center in Hardwick to celebrate World Refugee Day. Special guest Kabisko Kaba led a public dance workshop and a parade through downtown Hardwick to the Lamoille River. Kaba was joined by members of internationally renowned band The Sierra Leone Refugee All Stars, who performed that evening at A Vermont Place restaurant.
