Feathertop (by Nathaniel Hawthorne) is a story about an old New England witch who decides to build a scarecrow and bring him to life. The scarecrow is sent into town to marry the Judge’s daughter. Only then does he realize his true self is only a scarecrow. Twelve Hardwick area youth participated in the video adaptation in this special HCTV Vid Kids workshop!
